SAMDA’s spread across Africa remains on the spiral as Cote d’Ivoire team held its first meeting on Saturday, March 26, 2023.
According to a report, the meeting, which held at Basam, Abidjan, had 17 people in attendance and ran from 10:53 a.m. through 14:45 p.m.
The exercise produced laudable resolutions, notable among which are setting up an office and launching SAMDA Ivory Coast as soon as possible.
Other salient subjects deliberated upon at the meeting included the list of activities,
preparation of the annual budget for this year’s activities and opening of an account
The meeting ended with a decision to immediately embark on the drafting of letters to the various ministries for permission and operational support.
SAMDA is already partially on the ground in Cameroon, Ghana, Liberia, and Nigeria, where plans for launching are in top gear.
